No, Li.thepresentcandle is a home-based business in Melbourne and Sydney. However, we have a designated Pickup Point in Melbourne and Sydney for pickup arrangement. Alternatively, you can contact us through email, Instagram and Facebook.




Do I need to remove the dried flowers? How can I burn my candle safely?


The dried flowers are merely for decorative purpose. Even though we always ensure the dried flowers are placed far away from the wick, as they are considered as flammable item, we recommend you to remove them by using a tweezer before lighting your candle. Please ensure you always burn your candle on a stable and heat resistant surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move a lit candle or place it near windows where it may be exposed to blinds or curtains.




Is my glassware re-useable?


Absolutely! We encourage you to re-cycle. Once you have finished burning your candle, simply soak it with warm soapy water and wipe off the wax with a clean towel. You can use it as a vase for flowers/indoor plants, storage for beauty tools and more. Let's be creative!




My candle has surface imperfections. Is this normal?


Poor adhesion/wet spots may appear on the side of the glassware surface especially during cold weather. You may also notice the wax becomes darker after a few burn. This is not a fault of the candle. It is simply a characteristic of natural coconut & soy wax where the wax is releasing excess oil and cooling at different temperature. It certainly does not affect the candle in any way and it’s how you know that it’s 100% natural wax.




What type of wax is used in candles?


We use 100% natural coconut & soy wax and domestically-developed fragrance oils that are completely vegan and cruelty-free. Many of our fragrance oils do contain a high percentage of essential oils for an accurate and natural scent. Hence they are nontoxic and do not contain palm oil.




What kind of wick is used in candles?


We use natural wooden wicks in all our candles, except for mini candle. These wicks create a unique soft crackling noise reminiscent of a log fire. Other benefits include a cleaner burn with no carbon buildup and little debris. They also offer a longer burn time, maximizing the life of your candle.




How do I store my candle?


Candles are sensitive to temperature and light. Avoid candles from fading, cracking and melting by storing your candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, dust and fluorescent light. Store your candles in an upright position and don’t leave your candles in your car on a warm day.




What can I do if the item that I want to order is out of stock?

When will I receive my order?


Once your payment has been received, your order will be dispatched within 3-5 days or sooner.

How do I make my candle last longer?


Candle has a memory. When you burn your candle for the first time allow your candle to burn until it has a complete melt pool from edge to edge (for our candles, approximately 2- 3hrs). In addition, keep the wick trimmed between each use to 1/4" at all times. If you follow these two simple candle rules we guarantee a long lasting and cleaner burning candle.
